Michael's Scorpion Arrives

Just over a week ago I collected my shiny new tricycle: an HPVelotechnik Scorpion FX.  I'm sure you're just as excited about it as I was.  Here are a couple of holiday snaps and the story of my adventure.

As well as the mailing list you can use an rss reader. The feed link is at the right hand side of the page.

You may also use google friend connect to follow this site. If you know what google friend connect is, feel free to enlighten us.

Feel free to request another method in the comments. If it's convenient to add then I don't mind doing it.

Every time there is a new post, it should be emailed to the mailing list.  Sign up by visiting this google groups page. You will need a google account.  If you do not want to sign up to google, let one of us know and I (Michael) can add you directly to the list.

Announcing La Tour de LeJog 2011

Welcome to La Tour de LeJog 2011. A site describing our cycle ride from Land's End to John O'Groats.  It won't be the only one, but for a group that considers a 30 mile ride epic, 1000 miles is definitely La Tour rather than Une Tour.

The plan is for the site to serve as our diary, a means for interested parties to check up on us and a reference for others who are planning the same trip.

The observant among you will realise that this is 2010 and indeed you are correct. We do need time to build up some fitness and I personally don't have enough leave this year.  I dare say the others could provide similarly valid excuses for waiting a year.

To keep you occupied in the mean time, there will be posts about our plans, preparation and anything that happens to tickle our fancies.
