Who: Michael
What: male, 26
Where: Reading, Berkshire
Why: When Siân told me Jemma and Lex were planning an end to end attempt, the correct response would have been "They're crazy!".  I unfortunately failed the test and instead said "I'd be up for that".  My thought processes of the time are lost in the mists of my wonderful memory.  The likely candidates are:

1. I enjoy cycling and welcome something to motivate me to do more (the training as well as the trip).
2. I would like to see more of our beautiful country, for once without it being blurry or far below.
3. It is the perfect excuse to buy a new set of wheels which I couldn't justify just for commuting and the odd epic 15 mile ride.

 How: I will be riding an HPVelotechnik Scorpion. It is a folding recumbent trike.

Who: I think that's fairly obvious.
What: Carbon-based life form.  Female. 24.
Where: Reading, Berkshire.
Why: Because I often agree to things without thinking them through first.
How: On my bike.  The bike that I bought to cycle the two miles to uni every day.  It's a hybrid from Halfords which is rapidly having bits replaced and added on.  It may not survive the journey.
